Project Details

Boral operate a rail terminal and quarry products handling facility at their existing cement works in Maldon. The rail terminal receives quarry materials by train from Boral’s Peppertree Hard Rock Quarry in Marulan South and facilitates the transfer of materials to truck to be transported to the Sydney market via road.

Boral required a modification to their development consent for the construction and operation of a blending plant to manufacture blended road products for road construction projects.

Element Engagement

Element’s engagement included:

  • Project management of the modification application process and associated technical studies
  • Preparation of the Statement of Environmental Effects (SEE)

Project Achievements

Element achieved a modified development consent on time and within budget.
